Pizza Gives Retailers Take & Bake and Pizza-by-the-Slice Options in Minimal Space
Shakopee, MN, January 9, 2009: Lettieri’s® is rising to the “grab & go” occasion with the rollout of its new Self-Rising Take & Bake Pizza. According to John Barber, Executive Vice President of Development for Hot Stuff Foods/Lettieri’s, Lettieri’s is answering the call from retailers who want to take advantage of the national take & bake trend, but who don’t have the floor space to devote to a full-scale take & bake franchise. “Lettieri’s new Self-Rising Take & Bake Pizza program,” notes Barber, “has all the components of a successful take & bake program and can be executed in a fraction of the space. The fully topped product arrives freshly frozen from the distributor and can be held for up to 9 months in the freezer. When the retailer is ready to merchandise the product, it is taken from the freezer and placed in the cooler for 24 hours.
